So this is my second blog and still I am yet to work out the perfect way to start a blog. I'm getting there slowly, so hopefully you will like this one.
Recently I had a complete change in life-path (or whatever you would like to call it) and decided to steer away from my long-standing dream of becoming a well established structural engineer. What now? I hear that little voice in your head ask. Well baking and cooking have always been great passions of mine, along with many other creative activities (Dance, Creative writing, Design...let's just say my brain seems to be geared that way).
So in the short space of 24 hours I had managed to go from pursuing engineering to scrapping it all, feeling lost and confused, realising it's not completely ridiculous to pursue culinary arts, to wait for it...applying for a culinary arts course! It was off the cuff and I wouldn't be totally honest with myself if I said that I was confident with my application, but nevertheless I sent it off with best intention.
Someone somewhere must have picked up on my passion for it because a few weeks later I got an interview! I'd like to say I got the place, succeeded in the course, opened my own cafe/restaurant and am top of the game and well maybe, hopefully one day I will, but for now we're a couple of days away from the interview still. (Back to earth ladies and gents).
Till then...
