Serves: 1
Ingredients:
· 1 shot vodka
· 1 shot blue curacao
· 1/8 Lime juice
· 1 shot Gin*
· Crushed ice
· Lemonade
· Orange slice & Cocktail cherry to garnish
* Optional – Don’t use if you want to keep the drink light and refreshing, but if it’s happy hour then by all means add away.
Equipment used:
· Collins glass (In the image I used a large ‘Rocks’ glass)
· Stirrer
· Spirit measure
Method:
1. Chill your glass(es). Fill with large ice cubes and cold water, whilst you make the drink (Optional).
2. Prepare your garnish, Slice the orange and make a small diagonal cut at the edge so it can sit on the glass rim. I used pre-bought cocktail cherries but you could make your own if you have time to faff. Slice your lime (I much prefer to use fresh, rather than a cordial)
3. Empty your glass and fill with crushed ice. Add your vodka, blue curacao and gin (if using). Squeeze lime and discard. Stir.
4. Add a splash of lemonade and you may want to stir again. Top with ice if necessary and garnish.
